How the PC policies of the Miami Herald short-change crime victims

Here's a situation that is probably common in newspapers across America. A crime victim in Miami was able to give police a full description of the thugs who put a stun gun to his neck and tried to rob him. All of the media who reported on the crime -- except for NBC6 -- left out the race of the thugs. Random Pixels says that makes no sense.

(Updated and corrected -- original post incorrectly said only the Herald left out the race of the perps.)

You wrote: "Of all the news outlets, only the Miami Herald left out the race of the thugs."

Actually that's NOT what I wrote:

I said: "But all of the media reports -- except for NBC6's -- had been sanitized and any mention of the perps' race or ethnicity was missing." So the Herald wasn't the only outlet to omit the race.
