I’d like to hear him talk about whether Ayers’ background ever mattered to him — and if so, when and how did he decide Ayers was truly reformed, and therefore should be forgiven for his “despicable acts.”

In short, Obama should explain why Ayers’ past was of no consequence to him before he insists it should be of no consequence to us.

Unfortunately, reporters won't ask Obama questions like this until after he is elected -- they're too busy exposing Joe the plumber.
