I sold my Mustang without putting an ad in the Bee. Thankfully I found an advertising service that is superior to the classified ads in any newspaper. My Mustang ad included photos of the car, a brief description, and best of all -- there was no cost to me.

Ad revenue down = layoffs. Thanks to lack of advertising, I am out of a job. Yeah, we all know about craigslist and the various Yahoo groups and countless other "free" advertising venues, but count the cost. One ad here another there then it builds up and the papers have to cut back. Yes I give most of McClatchy's demise to Scary Gary Pruitt and the wrecking crew, but still ...
