McClatchy shares fall 5 percent
McClatchy (MNI) shares fell 5 percent in trading on Thursday, closing at $2.84 a share. The above chart shows the decline in McClatchy shares over the past year.
Are there golden parachutes (severance packages)for Pruitt and his corp gang if there is a change in control? Wonder what their retirement plan is too.
Oh no doubt it's better than mine. But the problem I have is this will mostly read like the Wall Street fiasco - corp execs walking away with millions upon millions and health coverage to boot. Their reward for driving a company into failure. Has anyone ever received a bonus/payout for failure? I never have!
..Can delisting off the big board be far away? I can see a future where folks who park themselves on curbs and traffic islands with handlettered cardboard signs are selling McClatchy stock as well. ...HEY ! Was that Gary Pruitt I saw at the corner of Watt and Happened ?
