McClatchy suffers another indignity -- dropped from naked short-sellers list

Story here. FYI, Wikipedia explains naked short selling is the practice of selling a stock short, without first borrowing the shares or ensuring that the shares can be borrowed as is done in a conventional short sale. (Learn something new every day.)

Somehow I knew that story link was not going to lead to a McClatchy paper. Imagine that?

In fact, dropping the tip in the KC Star's Dollars and Sense blog and they delete it, post haste. But, they sure don't mind slamming every other local company that is doing bad right now. Noooooo, not at all.

Here's the actual scoop. When The KC Star printed their layoff story it was in the Business Section and NO names mention. The same day two other business announced layoffs it was on the Front Page of the Star. They can't even cover their own story fair.

The only thing the KC Star covers well are THE DEAD (obits). Please report yourself in that section.
