A Gallup survey funded by the Knight Foundation found people who live in Miami lack community loyalty.
.
Apparently Gallup surveyed people in 26 cities where Knight Ridder formerly had newspapers to find out how loyal they are to their community. Details here.
.
Since Knight Ridder doesn't exist anymore, I don't see the point. Am I missing something?

Foundations are basically great big money laundering and capital generating machines with tax free benefits. Most fall under the 501(C)3 category where they can make a pittance available under the guise of grants, while protecting the administrators from the liabilities and burdens of private individuals and businesses in the form of taxes.
They're a big part of the, "Non Profit" scam in America, while the truth is they are making a killing off of things like donations, and "low cost" loans. They are also a great way for foreign entities to influence governmental policies, elections, and in the latest case, fund enemy combatants while serving to cover the money trail for numerous illicit operations.
I never have trusted those food banks.
