...Always best if you can beat you own record. The online SacBee Nation/World section has the same story ( Rhodes Scholars named for 2009 )posted THREE times on the same page. No adult supervision today. Wheeeeeeeeeeee !

This (story posting) is automated. The human in the process would recognize the duplication and eliminate one. Perhaps SacBee decided not to employ a second- or third-shift human to deal with this on Saturday night. I suspect that when Obama starts ruling in January, this kind of problem will disappear.

Well, I decided to look around -- and noticed the Wichita Eagle also has the same two duplicated Rhodes Scholars stories. So does the KC Star. They are both picked up from the AP. They are similar -- one may be a rewrite. So the problem is probably at the AP. Too many interns, perhaps.

Time magazine's Mark Halperin

Media bias was more intense in the 2008 election than in any other national campaign in recent history, Time magazine's Mark Halperin said Friday at the Politico/USC conference on the 2008election.

["It's the most disgusting failure of people in our business since the Iraq war,"] Halperin said at a panel of media analysts. "It was extreme bias, extreme pro-Obama coverage."

Better late than never? Obama won a fraudulent election, and the damage has been done. I am wondering if the “Stolen Election Mantra” will rise again.

...10:50, Just how much money could the Bee be saving by automatically befowling their product ? Because, the local shoppers guide, the free papers, the real estate guides, they never do this. If the SacBee paid the night watchman $5 a night and showed him where the click and delete buttons are.....
..Bottom line : They don't care about it enough to fix it. How's that working out for them ?

Comment: Article posted THREE times on the same page.

Why I wonder? Just how stale could a stale article be, if the stale article is stale three times? It’s a waste of pretend ink. The Bee doesn’t seem to care. Maybe a filler, is a filler, is a filler, once the REAL newspaper has left the building?

I would like to extend a very sincere thank you to the Big Valley Grace Church in Modesto Ca. who brought us groceries so my family could have a nice Thanks giving. If it weren't for McClatchy, this wouldn't have happened.
I wonder how Gary Pruitt would feel if he were brought down to this point in his life. Perhaps he may be facing a "turning point" in his life.
As some great person said...I don't remember who...You only get out of something what you put in to it. What comes around goes around.

Spotted: Gary Pruitt jauntily eating frozen yogurt, strolling down 20th St. flanked by two members of his entourage last Friday. Glad to see he's hard at work.
