$7,000 for the Herald

Genius of despair says without the land, the Miami Herald is worth about $7,000 ($2,000 for the paper itself and $5,000 for the laser copy machine). He is joking, but I don't disagree with his calculations. He wants to buy the Herald and is asking for donations at his new web site.
