Yesterday, Mr. McClatchy Watch described a string of comments as "sizzling." At first, I thought this was a piece of harmless hyperbole to excite his followers, but then I realized he was simply misusing the word. I think he was groping for "bigoted," "mildly retarded" or "simian."

This was, after all, a string where Mr. McClatchy's core troop of blogniks revealed their seething ids. Where one might make reasoned arguments, they flung opprobrium. It was much like watching the monkeys at the zoo hurl their excreta through the bars.

Let's look again at some of the fetid rhetorical missiles:

"Scum"

"You piece of crap"

"Miracle mullatto"

"Gay caballero"

"Traitor bastards"

"Shot in the head"

"Shallow graves"

It is difficult to imagine how one might assemble a newspaper that would please such people. Envision yourself as a features editor planning a food section: All you do could be would be to run pictures of bananas.

On the bright side, none of the local primates has yet voiced the opinion that a cabal of Zionist elders controls the media. Of course, this is probably because they can't spell 'Jew.'

You may now return to preening one another.

I agree 7:44 I love this site but yesterday was too much for me. Seems the last few days there has been a change in direction. More hate than opinions.

Anyway, Happy Holiday to everyone.

How droll, big words and all, I am impressed, yes I am. There are plenty of McClatchy trolls here. One of the first mistakes in journalism is to assume anything is true from anonymous sources. Wait, McClatchy thrives, or dies as it were, on anonymity. Where is that person that wants just the facts, man, just the facts?

And this: “It is difficult to imagine how one might assemble a newspaper that would please such people.” Let me introduce you to the KC Scar and Rhonda Lokeman.

"Difficult to imagine?"
Bwahahahahahahahahaha

...Ah, 7:44, in all his glory, describes my " Magic Mulatto " description as " bigoted ". But bigot is defined as "a prejudiced person who is intolerant of any opinions differing from his own " ( wordnet.princeton ).
...'Magic' is an opinion, 'mulatto' is a fact, and that's my opinion of what our next president thinks he is. 7:44 is intolerant of my opinion. By definition, that makes him a .....McClatchy apparatchnik.
..And a gutless one at that, since his anonimity perfectly descibes the depth of his convictions.

BTW:
Anon. 7:44 AM-
One of the biggest scams of the past election was trolls leaving hateful racist posts on blogs they resented. Then the accomplice troll would copy the fraud message and say, “Looky here, racist rants.” Man, if you don’t know that, then you may be in for a downfall.

MAN ONCE MCCLATCHY ISN'T AROUND WE WILL FINALLY GET AWESOME OBJECTIVE REPORTING FROM BLOGS LIKE THIS

Dave D., You might as well face it, you have to ‘splain’ things to the boys in the back room. It is irksome I know, but these guys are way back, they only see others through their own bigotry.

You don’t have to explain anything here, but of course, giving the obnoxious one a good zing is well appreciated.

I would ask the lame Anon:
Too long at a cushy job? “All play and no work makes Jack a dull boy.”

OH MAN YOU REALLY GOT THE BIG GUNS OUT NOW ARCHER

SUCH A CUTTING ZING FROM A DUDE

I AM UNDONE

MAN HOW ABOUT THAT OBJECTIVE REPORTING ON THESE BLOGS

I MEAN THAT'S WHY MCCLATCHY WATCH IS SO ANGRY WITH MCCLATCHY RIGHT, BECAUSE THEY LACK OBJECTIVITY. THEY ARE SO "LEFTIST" AND THEREFORE BAD.

BUT MR MCCLATCHY WATCH, THAT DUDE BRINGS THE OBJECTIVITY LIKE A STORM

IT IS WONDERFUL

Correction - UNHINGED

Don't sweat it though. We need a resident moonbat, lest our aim decline. Don't worry about the caps either. We understand that moonbats have the traditional vision problems of their better half.

uh oh! Seems McClatchy has neglected to mention a major reason for the recent decline!

It seems that on 12/16 Mr Pruitt and his Board of Directors have granted themselves an additional lot of shares exercisable as of March 2009 at 1.70 per share.

The Following:
Pruitt - 500,000
Tuhai - 9,000
Fangundes - 60000
Weil - 120,000
Talamantes - 100,000
Whittaker - 120,000
Dickerson - 120,000
Hendricks - 80,000
Prager - 80,000

Interestingly, this disclosure was reported to the SEC...Yesterday 12/18

I've said it before, you can fill volumes with what McClatchy doesn't report.

Yes Vern, 12/16. Exactly ONE (1) day AFTER reporting their abysmal revenue losses for the month of November.
