Old joke, still a chuckle:

How many editors does it take to change a light bulb?
Only one, but first he has to rewire the entire building.

And, Lighten Up:
Irony in neon

From:

Former and Soon-to-Be Former Print Journalists

-Newspaper Light Bulbs in Short Supply-
Under the headline is shown a picture of a neon sign that should say: Plain Dealer. However, one letter is unlighted, and it says,
‘P ain Dealer.’ The caption reads:
“Telling It Like It Is”

From the Yahoo message board: imadeadcat

“Deadcat theory of relativity: Everything looks so bad that MNI doesn’t look so bad!

Plus the big nut on debt isn't due until 2011..a lifetime with armageddon fears for those companies needing funding in 2009."

New Short interest numbers are out. As of 12/15; Shares 17,792,639 / Avg Volume 484,556 / Days to Cover 36.719.

This is down a little less than 1 million shares from the previous 2 week period. Look for this number to increase substantially next period with the price dropping below 1.00.
