Kansas City Star ranked #18 in October internet hits

The KC Star had 2.5 million hits in October. Top 30 list here.
.
No other McClatchy newspaper (other than the Seattle Times, half-owned by McClatchy) made the list.

My question -- Do these Internet hits translate into actual profits for the KC Star?

Star Tribune is #20 and we know what has happen to them. Hits include blogging. Who reads ads when blogging. According to Zieman 1 million people read his paper so that's not many hits for that many readers. Ha

Online they don't have to talk to The Reader's Rep. Derek Donovan.

Almost every day in the newspaper they are requesting readers to blog on their web site. They even have an entire page devoted to blogging.

Are they really a newspaper or a BLOG SITE.

Ar least on their blog site hopefully their Americans.
