More McClatchy support for the shoe thrower

Sacramento Bee cartoonist Rex Babin thought the assault on President Bush was funny. This cartoon appeared in today's Sacramento Bee.

Rex made a mistake. he should of put Melanie Sill's, the current Sacramento Bee editor, picture in the cartoon rather than the President's. As a former Bee subscriber, I have watched the Bee self-destruct. Conservative readers have dropped it in droves. Young liberals don't read, and thus can't pick up the slack. The new web site is not user friendly, and seems designed to keep conservative criticism at a minimum. The Bee is sinking. It's the editorial board first, women and children last.

Anonymous 9:37 -- you're on to something... how about Gary Pruitt in the cartoon.

I see why they are canning cartoonists. Third grade genius is a luxury that they just cannot afford.

Rex is one of many reasons for my cancellation of the Bee.

Another cartoonist hits new low.

KC News Watch: -Judge's Cartoon About Ann Coulter in the Star Was Bogus-

"KC Star's Lee Judge has a drawing of Ann Coulter (12/14) with the caption "Ann Coulter breaks her jaw & has her mouth wired shut. (Proof that God doesn't always work in mysterious ways)".

Judge’s cartoon was a fib. Judge based his cartoon on a bogus blog in Portland.

How about a cartoon with Gary Pruitt puking out his remaining McClatchy stock? Wouldn’t that be droll and amusing just before our pretend tea party? Petulant children that we are.

Anon @ 9:37 made a great comment.

I'd only add that many independents and even a few liberals are disgusted with the kind of biased, bash America first, most and always "journalism" shilled by the Bee.
