Revealed: Rhonda Chriss Lokeman is hardly published outside Kansas City... small Texas paper dropped her column after a brief stint

Rhonda Chriss Lokeman's defenders call her a "nationally syndicated columnist," but in Lokeman's case, "nationally" means something other than what you would think.

Other than the Kansas City Star, I've been unable to locate any newspapers that currently carry her column.

She was published for a short time this year at the Lubbock Avalanche-Journal but was dropped.

If you have not already noticed, Jim Hightower has joined our Sunday Commentary page lineup starting today, offering his liberal thoughts in place of Rhonda Chriss Lokeman.

Lokeman, you may remember, replaced the late Molly Ivins. She more than fulfilled her liberal slot, but we were not impressed with the columns she wrote that were supposed to be sung to a well-known song.

The lyrics didn't always seem to match.

Is she published elsewhere? A Google search didn't provide any clues.

I asked Creators Syndicate where her columns run, and was told they don't provide that info. I emailed Rhonda Lokeman but haven't heard back yet. Have you heard of any other papers currently carrying her column?

If she isn't a legtimate nationally-syndicated columnist, the sweetheart deal she has with her husband, the publisher of the Kansas City Star, looks really bad.

If you can't get any answers here in KC maybe you should go right to the top at McClatchy. VP that Zeiman answers to. The whole thing seems pretty fishy.

Seems like NOBODY can speak for her. I wonder why? Oh, she gets special treats from the boss.

How many people have been cut from there?

I don’t usually reply to posts but I will in this case. I’ve been experiencing this very same problem with a new WordPress installation of mine. I’ve spent weeks calibrating and getting it ready when all of a sudden… I cannot delete any content. It’s a workaround that, although isn’t perfect, does the trick so thanks! I really hope this problem gets solved properly asap.
