This blog is mainly about the spectacular train wreck at The Sacramento Bee and its parent company, the McClatchy Company. But I also post about current events, the Iraq and Afghanistan wars, politics, anything else that grabs my attention. Take a look around this blog, hope you enjoy it.

Michelle Malkin devotes her column to newspaper moochers. She writes, “A press beholden to the ruling class – a press that cannot stand on its own two feet and the strength of its products — is a press better off dead.” ----------------- Lead Story -New moochers in town: Newspapers- http://michellemalkin.com/
Also at Michelle Malkin: She mentions online news papers and the use of auto-refresh. Is it likely that online traffic numbers would be counted as new with each refresh? ------------ Malkin writes: “On a semi-related note, check out Patterico’s post: HotAir.com Had Almost 1/3 the Traffic of the L.A. Times’s Entire Web Site in October. An additional footnote: [We do not use auto-refresh.]…..
I checked out the KC Star web site today and there are some changes. Looks like to be able to do any type of posting you will need to register and get a password.
So much for annoymous posting. I quess this means "I can't stand the heat get out of the kitchen".
