Sarah Palin's church nearly restored after arson fire... no word from McClatchy since the church was torched over a month ago

Restoration work at Wasilla Bible Church, badly damaged in an arson fire last month, is making good progress and services will move back into the main building this coming Sunday.

Call me crazy, but I'm betting an arson fire at Barack Obama's old church would be getting a lot more media attention.

I did a search at the Anchorage Daily News web site and it looks like the Palin Haters at the ADN haven't done a single story on Wasilla Bible Church since December 15th -- just after the arson. (Search results here.)

Of course, nutty editor Patrick Dougherty found the resources to assign a reporter to investigate whether Sarah Palin gave birth to Trig Palin. But apparently Dougherty doesn't have the resources to assign a reporter to investigate the arson at Sarah Palin's church.

Heckuva job there, Patrick.

If I were an arson investigator the first thing I would be doing is checking the whereabouts of every single journalism fraud at that rag. Starting with Pat the Rat.

Pat the Rat, heh, however, you do a disservice to rats. Making any animal that low hurts their feelings, and that will alert PITA.

Contrast the stories about arson in Gov. Palin’s church and a black church:

Post-Election Church Arson Investigated As Hate Crime

The torching of a black church a few hours after Barack Obama was elected president is considered a probable hate crime by federal investigators.
