What can be better then yesterday? That was some of the best reading posted ever!

Lots of drama around McClatchy these days.

Howard Weaver writes: As a citizen trying to learn what matters in my government, it feels to me like too many of the reporters who ought to be finding out and telling me are instead obsessed with issues like whether pool reporters will always follow the president when he takes the girls for ice cream (who cares?)

Oh, I see, Howie finally gets it. A fawning media is useless? Well Howie, who the F**k cares now? Why didn’t YOU try to shape journalism for the future? Get lost and stay lost, lame ostrich that you are.

Boys,I think we're at the point of no return for MNI. Next week should be fun.

And I agree, great posting this past week.

Just a few days ago there was a post about how veeeery chic Pruitt is. Staying in swanky hotels, dressing like a fashion model, gag, gag, gushing gag.

He doesn’t get that sort of PR now. He is a little greedy man, shaking in his $1000 shoes, IMO. I don’t know how he will have the nerve to give the 4th Q. report, if it is as bad as predicted.

Can we dispense with the Howard Weaver mentions? The loser no longer has any relevance and his name sickens me. Enough already!

The BOD won’t fire Pru now. Whointhehell would step into that job?

They never mention mismanagement, so the light dims on the Left Coast Pravda, How bad can that be?

Tribune Co.'s L.A. Times to cut 300 jobs, shrink sections; 11 pct of editorial jobs to be cut…..

The paper's publisher, Eddy Hartenstein, informed staff in a memo on Friday, explaining the cuts "are designed to help us deal with the economic realities of the day."

So, you come on this blog to censure the discussions? On your TV there is a mute button, on the net it is called scroll. If you don’t like the subject, Scroll, Baby, Scroll. This has been an open opinion forum; you don’t dictate here.

Psssssst, I think Howard Weaver is reading our blog today. Be careful what you say about him.

Who says we shouldn't discuss Howie? The days of “selecting” what can, or cannot be discussed, is part of the reason we are in this fix today. Get real!

I hear Obama was going to appoint Howard Weaver to a cabinet position, but when they found out he has paid all of his taxes they disqualified him.

You people are brutal. You're even hammering posters who can't stand to read Howard Weaver's name in print.
If you work in Sactown, Howard wasn't even the worst cat in the building. Try Joyce Terhaar, the managing editor of the Bee, for gross incompetance and the most-hated award from newsroom staffers. Of course, they'll probably promote her with those "credentials."

”Howard wasn't even the worst cat in the building.”

At the Sacbee, Melanie Sill is creepy. You must have missed Howie and his “Burning Bridge” bullshit. Talk about blinders! Working in a vacuum has destroyed your air. Walk it off, man, walk it off.

Nice try Mrs. Weaver.
Howard out on the links, is he?
Not paying proper attention to you?

The Sac Bee is full of management losers and corporate sewage. Everybody is just too scared about the layoff list to say anything within the newsroom walls. Terhaar has to rank among the worst top managers in McClatchy history, though. At least Sill got the Internet thing right.

Good shit on this board! Fun reading.

Talk about carrying the Democrat’s water? Almost every liberal blogger, Jeff Jarvis etc, uses the Huffington Post as the new media’s example of excellence. They are dictating what is successful already .-‘LIBERALISM’- Just start taking note. They are setting it up as the moderate voice of importance, a must read, blah, blah, blah. They didn’t learn a thing!

Melanie Sill was disgraced for her lousy racist work at the N & O. She was literally kicked out of town. So, she gets a gig with a raise at the Sac Bee. Come On, she wasn’t reborn! She stinks just as much there. Maybe she fit well into the smell of things, and no one noticed a new stinker onboard.

Anonymous said...

Talking about the N & O, we need some inside contacts from there. Nothing good comes out of that joint. I don't know how the race baiters keep their jobs.
Oh wait, yes I do.

GOP picks its first black chairman, but will change follow?
***
These phony so-called journalists just can’t help themselves.
Why isn’t this just the greatest first? Steele maybe all black, that should be even better news.

Liberals: Oh, that can’t be good, black is our thing, ONLY!
Even a Halfrican worked, we must destroy this Steele.
Message from MSM:
Remaining newspapermen, start your engines.
SOP - Search and destroy!

The big surprise is, what with the state of the public school system in Philly, that there are that many people that can read.
