Thanks for providing this service for McClatchy papers. Where I work, we're following u closely.
Columbus Ledger-Enquirer is confirmed 15%. All employees were told at the meeting. However, the management prefers a verbal announcement. There's no paper trail on this. It seems like they don't want to give specifics on the pay cut. Still, no paper trail on this. They seem to like the secrecy. To sum up, it's 15% and no handwritten information given to all employees to give them an idea how much is cut from their salary.
You're latest tally of updates doesn't appear to include yesterday's KC Scar announcement of 150 additional curb bouncers.
Mark "The Ad Guy" Zieman didn't put the fear of Ron da into you did he? ;-)
"We are grateful to the Washington Post, The New York Times, Time
Magazine and other great publications whose directors have attended
our meetings and respected their promises of discretion for almost
forty years."
"It would have been impossible for us to develop our plan for the world
if we had been subjected to the lights of publicity during those years.
But, the world is now more sophisticated and prepared to march towards a
world government. The supranational sovereignty of an intellectual elite
and world bankers is surely preferable to the national
auto-determination practiced in past centuries."

Anonymous 5:08 - thanks, I just added the KC Star to the main tally. Some details haven't been announced yet, though.

They're all doing it. Delaying telling their victims so they can spread it out and not report it. Only announcing agreed to numbers by the "so called" union.
It's despicable and surprisingly it seems that no one has caught on yet.
There isn't even any hush-hush gossip going around the Ledger. Last time, everybody knew a week before announcements. This time, not a word. And that scares me.
