UPDATE: via comments:
I got my phone call Sunday night to come in for the meeting Mon. afternoon. I am just relieved that it is finally going to be over. It would be nice if management could be upfront and honest instead of all of the hush, hush bs....

Anyone know where the TV stations will be staked out near the Star today? I received a timely inheritance last week so these assholes can take their transition package and shove it. I'm spilling my guts Zieman! You got that?
I'm considering this, as are a couple of my friends. No trace and i already know for a fact this guy doesn't give up names. Just depends. Not sure what else I want to say other than Zieman sucks...my friends say they have some good dirt. We'll see.
There are 25 jobs gone in Boise and a 3-10 percent wage cut. Thats 10 percent of the work force.
apparently, lexington's 10:30 meeting was cancelled... that makes THREE meetings that have been called and cancelled (so far) on friday and today.
Congrats McClatchy! It's now 11:23 a.m. at the Bradenton Herald and still no word from you cowards. Looking around the building I can see productivity at exactly ZERO.
Cuts have started at The Star this morning.
Announcement expected at 2 p.m cst at the Belleville News-Democrat. Nice of them to drag it out as long as possible.
