I guarantee you The Star could have kept two of the reporters they fired who could be writing daily news stories for what they're paying this dud to embarrass them every time he puts finger to keyboard.

This is way I say they're not serious about survival there. When you're concerned about survival you go into a mode of absolute meritocracy. Under that criteria, Lewis would have gone in the first round.

Speaking of bigots at The Star, will Yael Abouhalkah launch a hate campaign against Biden's daughter based on her alleged cocaine use? Or are the children of Democrats off limits?

Abouhalkah used to publish multiple hate columns on his blog daily against Sarah Palin and her daughter during the campaign. Let's see how long it takes him to put something about Biden's daughter on there.

Come on, they will never go after plugs biden's kid.

It will be just like the edwards love child story that the LA slimes demanded blogers not even speak about.

Amazingly, after speaking to some media types, it seems they still have little idea they are biased.

They think its the economy. I was shocked

Leave the Chia pet's kid alone.

Diuguid = consequences of hiring someone simply because of his/her race. Just another poor writer that should have been fired a long time ago.

Affirmative action has its downside, and Lewis is the perfect example of pimping diversity regardless of ability. The KC Scar is full of writers that could not get a job unless they received special treatment. I just can’t believe these deadheads stay, and the people that could put a decent news center together, are out the door.

Lewis Diuguid and code words -

Some months back we were having fun with Little Lewie Diuguid and his code word shit. It came to our attention that his name ‘diuguid’ is a palindrome (text reading same backward as forward) and we decided Lewie needed his own secret code word.

This works, ‘dumbmud.’
That is secret code for dumb as mud.

I for one am glad that the Star kept Lewis. Zieman et al might not have a clue, but keeping people like him, Abouhalkah Allahu Ackbar, and Mary "break down the fences and flood the borders" Sanchez do more to keep the Star falling than the economy could ever do. Add in a little of Merrim's Pepper and a bit of Beady eyed Mike and his dancing russian bears and the side show is complete. I just wish they would hire Roxie the cockeyed lunatic and give PT Barnum a run for his money...heh, especially if they added Ron da three legs as the bearded lady.

Diuguid writes,
-Shame on McCain and Palin for using an old code word for black-.

McCain and Palin have simply reached back in history to use an old code word for black. It set whites apart from those deemed unAmerican and those who could not be trusted during the communism scare.”

Is this man insane?

Actually, no, he is typical of his peers.

Lewis also seemed to think Socialism is good because it fights for peace, racial justice, equality, and labor relations. Of course he could never understand those code words. He is just another liberal journalist in-the-tank for Air Obama, and a totally useless being. Useless, totally.

When did we establish that he is a man?

The Red Scar as it is now, is guaranteed to fail. It stinks, it reeks of favoritism, and it deals in yellow journalism. Just the fact that Rhonda Lokeman could be published there is mind blowing. Add in the other misfits, and you have a dying beast on your hands, and a dinosaur funeral in the making. Who the hell cares anyway?

Will McClatchy cover the Biden Scandal?

Sacbee VP Biden News
by Miss Melly Spill

Not long ago I wrote about the use of rumors making the case against Sarah Palin. In that instance I was correct, as Ms. Palin could have corrected the rumors with a simple phone call. She did not call to explain the scandals we found in her dumpster. Barry Soetoro’s 9000 attorneys also had abundant questions TO BE answered.

The rumor about Ms. Biden are quite different, as the wind blew some coke into her nostrils. She immediately snorted out the coke, and blew her dainty nose. We at the Bee pride ourselves on accurate reporting, and you can count on me to keep you up to SPEED, which of course Ms. Biden would never, never use.

Actually, I care about The Star. I would like to have an honest community newspaper. I would like to go out in the morning and pick up a newspaper from my driveway that I could trust.

Unfortunately, I don't have that, and The Sun is just as bad, if not worse than The Star.

What Lewis represents is an icon, if you will, of the absence of the kind of meritocracy it will take to make The Star a functioning profit center.

Editorial pages in general are dinosaurs. If there is one thing the blogosphere can do wonderfully, it is provide opinion.

What bloggers are more limited in providing is news, original local news. The only reason that the bloggers in KC are providing so much original content is owing to the fact that The Star has left the field. There are certainly things about certain groups that it just will not cover. A child could beat them.

Lewis is the symbol of that mindset. He is an affirmative action baby (indeed, with the canning of Trudy Hurley and Stephen WInn, the entire editorial department is an affirmative action enclave) with absolutely no talent whatsoever.

While the same *cannot* be said of the ol' 3 Wheeler, Lewis is mind numbingly stupid. I once tried to explain to Lewis how graduate programs in sociology channeled minority students into the disciplines deadend, or overpopulated sub-disciplines. Lost cause.

I don't know whether his bigoted mindset would not allow him to believe that a conservative would care about such an issue, or whether he was just too stupid, but I am positive that the gleam in his eye was a refection off the back of his skull.

At any rate, his job at The Star is symbolic of their decision not to engage in a meritocracy, but to continue with a program of political correctness in which reverse discrimination appears to be playing a major role in the retention decisions.

Star spelled backwards is Rats!
Pssst, pass that around KC!

Yael Abouhalkah should not be writing for any legitimate news org, but that it what makes him perfect for the KC ‘RED’ Star!

It's a shame that Kansas City cannot afford a genuine race-baiter like Al Sharpton or Jesse Jackson. We have Lewis Diuguid back on the editorial pages of the KC Star--no wonder Kansas City is considered a cow town.

Lewis, you were hired because you were black.
You are being demoted because you don't work.
