Sadly, in Durham (and surrounding environs) many people still have no understanding of the difference between victim(s) (Duke Lacrosse)and accuser(s) (CGMangum, Duke Univ, G88, DUMC, DukePD, DurhamPD, Durham politicos).
False accusations have repercussions.
I suspect there is some sabotage going on at the N&O, and the
KC Scar. Even given the fact they are horrible news organs, this is getting beyond sloppy. This is more like, TAKE THAT!
You know this reads as if it is intentionally misleading. Almost as if they were actually trying to draw a crowd based on the injustice done to the players, then switching them with the perpetrator that falsely accused them....and then they are going to screen questions so she doesn't get asked about the case at all?
Why have her at all then?
