Hey, for all you MNI Marxists, if any of your crap production was of any value, where is your yearly hard bound copy of “This Year’s Best Editorials”?

It would be out already but we're having a technical difficulty. It's a toss up between Lewis Duiguid and Ron da Chriss Lokeman Zieman, but neither can be located for comment.

You know, I really didn't know that Obama was black until Lewis I heard about Lewis' column informing us that "socialist" was really a code word for black. I was absolutely stunned. Who knew?

Please note typo in the previous post. I'm trying to emulate The Star's writing style by not proofing anything I type.

John -- funny thing is, whenever I point out a typo in the Star, anonymous commenters (MNI journalists?) leave comments about how trivial it is to complain typos in the Star.

Who in their right mind still reads USA Today?
A few months back I asked Marriott to NOT deliver a newspaper to my door. I told them I was well into saving the planet, and newspapers were a waste of resources. I also told them I would prefer a credit. After much dithering, they said it would be too much labor to remove my paper, and to just leave it.

I took a picture of all the newspapers still in their wrappers in the housekeeping garbage, and took that to the manager. I said I was going to mail it to the green groups saving the planet.

In Denver, a Marriott had asked me to hang my towels and reuse them, rather than ask for fresh towels, to save our precious resources. What hypocrites!

Marriott to stop automatic newspaper delivery to guests
Editor & Publisher
At check-in, guests will be asked if they want USA Today, Wall Street Journal, the local paper, or no paper. Marriott claims guest demand for newspapers has dropped about 25%.

Just received COBRA papers, shows you have to pay 100% of premiums. Tried calling Zenith, left voice mail, tried HR they know nothing, checked out gov't web site. It states that you only have to pay 35%, but when I called them they told us to go ahead and pay 100% for at least the first 3 months because things aren't worked out yet. You then have to try and get your money back from McClatchy. If you can't get it back from them you have to file a complaint with the gov't. Getting the money back could be impossible esp. if company files for bankruptcy. Has anyone heard anything different?

The KC Star has become seriously challenged in the proofreading department, as well as being overpopulated with biased affirmative action columnists. Talk about being racist, the Star is full of petty liberals poorly disguised as journalists. These bottom feeders feel justified in taking shots at white people, but scream racism at any criticism of HopeyChangey. Watching the demise of dishonest news reporting is simple justice, if nothing else.

@Bottom Line Communications
JOCO SUN LARGER THAN KANSAS CITY STAR

It has been called the "Incredibly Shrinking Star" and subscribers have seen their newspaper get smaller almost seemingly on a weekly basis.
Exactly how small has the paper become? Well, on Monday (4/13) the Kansas City Star was reduced to just three sections and a total of 34 pages. It had no ad inserts (see note below: The paper does not do inserts on Mondays) and costs customers 75 cents.
The most recent edition of the free Johnson County Sun (4/9) mailed to subscribers by Sun Publications was 36 pages (and inserts). The reality is that one would be hard-pressed to ever find any edition of the Sun larger than KC's leading newspaper.
Not only have Star subscribers seen many of their favorite journalists let go during ongoing layoffs and the quality of the newspaper product decline dramatically, reportedly the paper is set to implement a 15% rate increase effective May 1.

This weekend I watched the Lokeman ‘You Tube’ videos. She was obvious blasted out of her mind, and she refused the breathalyzer test. There is no way she should be allowed to drive on the streets of Kansas City, or any streets for that matter. What a mockery of the law! Why would anyone submit to a breathalyzer test if nothing happens when drunks refuse, and blissfully drive away?

I’m not sure of your circumstance, however when Modesto put me out to pasture in November of ’08 with an involuntary buyout, the same thing happened to me. The “first” set of papers I received from COBRA / Zenith was incorrect. About a week or two later I received a set offering the promised discount. If your paper promised you discounted coverage, I’m sure you will eventually get it. (The problem seems to be with Zenith.)

Keep in mind, my experience was pre-stimulus. McClatchy may be playing a different game at this point.

Hang in there and best of luck to you and yours.

While McClatchy chased teenagers in Alaska, Barry’s aunt was breaking our laws in Boston. She was scamming taxpayers, living on welfare, and ignoring deportation orders. Even the most corrupt liberal journalists surely recognized how warped the news coverage was for the past election. People who fainted at the TelePrompTer Man speeches were also scammers. I had to wonder about the false news concerning the money spent on Gov. Palin’s clothing, which was purchased with private contributions, versus, the amount of money spent on BO’s Kenyan aunt which was taxpayers money. How much have we been scammed? That should be the news! It shouldn’t be too difficult to add up welfare payments for five or so years. And, don’t forget the cost of staff time so far for deportation proceedings.

Re: Lokeman videos
The reports said the police initially stopped her for driving without lights, and being stopped in the middle of the road. She had no idea she was driving on a rim. How intoxicated would one have to be to not know you are missing a tire? There is no way she can beat this rap, unless the KC legal system is as corrupt as the KC Scar. A commenter said it will cost her 5k-10k for her little joyride. Good, double that amount would be even better. She is the most disgusting so-called journalist I have ever encountered. Had her husband not fronted for her, she would have remained unknown, which is the way it should have been. Up from the sewer, back to the sewer; the lifecycle of the absurd barking moonbat specie.

.....Ah Mondays.... A beautiful spring morning, fresh cup of hot coffee in hand, picked up my LOCAL newspaper from the driveway, relaxed to the patio for a proper balanced news read. OOPS, what hapened to my local paper, the great SACBEE?? Section A was 14
pages. Looking for the locally written articles I find the following from the 15 published stories:
..written by Associated Press - 7
..written by New York Times - 3
..written by Los Angeles Times - 1
..written by Fresno Bee - 1
..written by Washington Post - 1
..and finally those great SACBEE writers completed 2 whole articles. Two out of fifteen stories...what a bonanza...and would you believe these articles were all cut and pasted from very Conservative Publications.....and some of you complain of bias in newspapers. How silly. Only 15 out of 15 from "LEFTY" writers you say. Where is the slant and bias?

People...you are not dying, you are DEAD!!

Did anyone see tons of news coverage about Senator Clinton not paying all her election campaign bills? No story there I guess. MNI still dumpster diving in selected states. However, the Secretary of State is said to be offering a day with Bill to repay her debts. A day with a serial sex fiend is still attractive to liberals. A weak man that lied to a grand jury is but a put-upon lad. Phony feminists attacked a young woman, a feminist even, instead of a dirty old man. A day with Bill to pay the bills, how quaint? Women can feel somewhat more safe these days as Bill is on the pills. Most heart medicine is a real downer, if you catch my drift?

Oh my gosh ... all of you who are complaining about leftists, Marxists, Communists, mean journalists or whatever it is .... get off your duffs and do something to change it. Typing all day long on here isn't going to change anything. Just DO SOMETHING and quit your bitchin' already!

Thanks, I feel better now.

Anon 2:37 THANK YOU! You summed up the "B" as in BS very, very well!

The KC Star has become one big error. Each new page reduction plan has to be viewed as a good thing. It is time for the liberal columnists to exit stage left. They are the worst!
