I'm really sorry I missed this. I love crowds of fat, angry white people.

So, after all gloating about McClatchy's problems, and all your complaining about its supposed bias and incompetence, you swipe the Sacramento Bee's photojournalism for your blog because your own pictures are so amateur?

Copyright infringement is the sincerest form of flattery.

I love crowds of fat, angry white people.Code Pink was there?

I happened to be at this particular Tea Party. While there was a handful of tubbies rolling around -- as there is at all events -- I saw plenty of normal-sized folks, including families and the cutest dang kids you've ever seen.

As per lots of white people, well, I guess we should 'tea bag' the civil rights movement, which had lots of black folks involved in its early days ....

This is the funniest yet. I love to read the comments from all the right-wing nut jobs, racist, homophobic 12 year olds, and senile Bush lovers who hate newspapers. But today is AWESOME. You steal the photos from the Sac Bee. Copyright infringement. Perfect just PERFECT! You jackasses put all of us in the news business down but when push comes to shove (like having decent content) you end up having to steal it. EXCELLENT.

I have to give the Sacramento Bee credit for at least running some nice photos. It escapes me while some must make childish comments about some being white or over weight. They are still Americans and humans. I was at the event and everyone I met was very kind and in great spirits.

You know I just don't understand why people don't like you. I'm betting you're just the fairest reporter ever.

You jackasses put all of us in the news business down but when push comes to shove (like having decent content) you end up having to steal it.There are photos available online from attendees. It would have been better to have used these than the Sac Bee's, to be sure, given the nature of this blog, but it doesn't change the fact of the Tea Parties, or the legitimacy of the issues brought up and the sentiments of its attendees.

This is the funniest yet. I love to read the comments from all the right-wing nut jobs, racist, homophobic 12 year olds, and senile Bush lovers who hate newspapers.I thought those of you in the 'news' business were unbiased arbiters of events in our society. Looks to me, if you are indeed in the news business (and that's a big IF), that you're little more than a political bigot masquerading as a liberal.

Homophobic 12-year-olds? I didn't know pre-pubescent children were capable of being homophobic. And racist? Can you point to any racist placards or statements made at any of the hundreds of events in all 50 states that could be deemed racist?

Didn't think so. Oh well, what do I know -- I have a BA in English literature, a BA in American History, and MBA, and I'm currently back in school getting a BSCS. What is that compared to your ... whatever it is you've 'studied' at community college. I'd bet my house you don't even have a library, and probably don't even read newspapers yourself, which is to say you're an ignorant, an intellectual lightweight, aka, a bumpkin.

Also, I married outside my race, and lived in San Francisco for years. Guess that makes me a homophobic racist.

Oh well, everybody knows that journalism and communications majors are the dumbest people on campus ....
