This blog is mainly about the spectacular train wreck at The Sacramento Bee and its parent company, the McClatchy Company. But I also post about current events, the Iraq and Afghanistan wars, politics, anything else that grabs my attention. Take a look around this blog, hope you enjoy it.

Tea Party update
In the Wall Street Journal, Glenn Reynolds explains how the Tea Party protests could change American politics.
Watch live coverage at Pajamas Media here. And see a nice aggregator page here.

Also, Yahoo News! has a blurb on it's front page, when I logged in to check my mail.
Guys, the word is out. The drive-by media is covering this. Happy now?
(I did NOT check my local newspaper, as I've let my subscription end.)
Tea Party = completely lame, nothing but whiners. Taxes have been out of control for at least a generation yet now they protest. Sour grapes from the losing party.
The Maryland National Guard has been put on alert in anticipation of today’s nationwide Tea Party protests, while a Homeland Security spokesman refused to deny that protesters would be under surveillance from the DHS.
There are thousands and thousands attending the tea parties. The White House spokesman who agreed to appear at one, turned tail, and cowardly ran back to the Nanny Hole. What a poor example of the present administration. You can run, but you can’t hide forever! The corrupt media cannot control the news any longer. Go bloggers go.
A young family man at the Texas tea party just said. "Don't watch the MSM; search for the truth yourself" The corrupt media is getting some sunshine. Clearly, they can’t withstand exposure to truth and light.
Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano is already back peddling from the phony report about conservatives becoming radical. The first apology is going to Veterans. The whole Obama cabinet is a bunch of tax cheats and slackers. It doesn’t look like anyone knows what the hell they are doing. This is not the “Change” anyone in their right mind thought would come with the Fraud King.
I guess The Bam isn’t all-seeing, all-knowing. ----------- ABC: Obama 'Unaware of Tea Parties'
Maybe he just doesn’t know that there are people who disagree with his massive tax and spend agenda. That would explain a lot. Perhaps the network media’s near silence on the “tea party” phenomenon has kept President Obama from realizing that hundreds of tax day protests will happen today? “The White House says the president is unaware of the tea parties and will hold his own event today,” ABC’s Dan Harris said on “Good Morning America” on April 15. Harris’s story was the first ABC News report specifically about the tea parties since Rick Santelli’s of CNBC’s famous rant calling...
I wonder how many of these people realize that the "out of control taxes" they're protesting are the continued tax policies from the Bush administration. And Obama's budget - which hasn't even gone into effect yet - reduces taxes for most Americans. And the most recent poll shows that 70% of Americans trust Obama on the economy, and just 38% trust Republicans in Congress.

Re: "70% of Americans trust Obama on the economy"
And, you believe these phony polls and articles from corrupt new sources?
I don't! That is what elected the Teleprompter President in the first place.
East Coast Teabagging drawing to a close...
