That was fast!... Anchorage Daily News deletes post of crude anti-Palin slams

Wednesday I noted the Anchorage Daily News had posted a list of proposed titles for Sarah Palin's new book.

Here are some of the cloddish titles:

“The Lyin', The Witch, And The Wardrobe”
“Bible Spice: Word Salad Made Easy”
“The Conscience of a Moron”
“The Audacity of a Dope”
“Knocked Up: The Palin Family Story”
“Wink: The Power of Winking Without Thinking”
“Brain Freeze - The Untold Story of Sarah Palin”
"A Book Report, by Me, Sarah Palin"
"Tuesdays With Moron"

A reader at Conservatives 4 Palin discovered the book titles were apparently taken from the Daily Kos web site.

Word got back to the ADN, because late in the day Thursday, the entire post was deleted. If you click the link I posted Wednesday, you get this error message. No explanation, no apology to Palin or ADN readers, no nothing.

Thankfully the post has been preserved for posterity here.

The ADN owes an explanation to its readers. And maybe an apology to Sarah Palin.

Ace has more.

Thanks for preserving the post. Some of those are funny.
Which leads me to ask, have you gone liberal? Can you not laugh man?
Humor was always a conservative virtue.
Laughter is good for the soul, and the grubbermint has yet to tax it.
How about a BarackO list to go with this one?
I'll take a laugh anywhere I can find it in these times.

It is really going to piss off the ADN when the book publisher contracts out the 12th print run to ADN because their presses are not doing anything else.

It's not so funny when your "humor" editorial post shows lack of journalistic ethics not only in content (this is what a major newspaper's editorial blog is about?), but in cribbing from a major slanted blog source.

Grow a sense of humor for gawd's sake. Apology? She's a friggin' public figure, it's called free speech.
