This blog is mainly about the spectacular train wreck at The Sacramento Bee and its parent company, the McClatchy Company. But I also post about current events, the Iraq and Afghanistan wars, politics, anything else that grabs my attention. Take a look around this blog, hope you enjoy it.

"When there is no print edition, will readers flock to newspaper web sites?"
Jennifer Saba takes a look at the clues and gives her best guess. Click here to see it. . . .
The Kansas CIty Kansan went online only, and I don't think it's doing too well. They have enhanced their website however, so they're giving it the old college try.
The thing about a print edition is that it does give you an edge, call it legitimacy, as a "real" newspaper. When you go to a straight online publication and start competing website to website on a level playing field you start getting the situations you have with Tony and Hendricks and kicking The Star's behind on virtually any topic is not hard to do.

M-Watch, you are too kind with the links. But if I go, my computer does not have enough or proper software to DELOUSE afterwards so, no thank you!
No print edition, means no McClatchy!
Is it almost time to do the Happy Dance?
