The Kansas CIty Kansan went online only, and I don't think it's doing too well. They have enhanced their website however, so they're giving it the old college try.

The thing about a print edition is that it does give you an edge, call it legitimacy, as a "real" newspaper. When you go to a straight online publication and start competing website to website on a level playing field you start getting the situations you have with Tony and Hendricks and kicking The Star's behind on virtually any topic is not hard to do.

Here are a couple of internet-only newspaper sites: Kansas City Kansan; Seattle Post-Intelligencer

No way! Their bias forced me away and I am quite happy with the sites I go to for news now thank you!

The poster who said something like, "If I need to get a shot of propoganda I'd go to their site" speaks for me.

However, via this site, I have quickly learned to like Robert McKee.

M-Watch, you are too kind with the links. But if I go, my computer does not have enough or proper software to DELOUSE afterwards so, no thank you!

No print edition, means no McClatchy!

Is it almost time to do the Happy Dance?
