Centre Daily Times lays off 4 employees

The Centre Daily Times has laid off 4 employees, according to Erica Smith at the PaperCuts blog. The cuts were effective June 29, 2009.

The paper laid off 3 in March.

Ah, yes, the Centre Daily Times, which was supposed to be the grand experiment where online and print were blended in a college town, offering the rest of the McClatchy chain a model to save them all. It was the first to redesign off the horrid KRD platform. Fat lotta good.
