Today's Truth:
Liberals were born miserable and delight in being miserable their entire lives. That's the genetic disposition for being a liberal. Typical liberal: miserable, wimpy, Prius-loving, gay and homeless advocate, season tickerholder to the ballet and big fans of Whoopi Goldberg, Rosie O'Donnell and Keith Olbermann. Amen.

I love it when a conservative beats the lib trolls to the first post!

Is there a more pathetic guild web site than the one in Sacramento? They've posted yet another job opening classified for a couple of UC Davis jobs. Instead of informing members about what the hell is going on in Sac, they weanie out with job openings and sappy (and phoney) journalism award winners. Is there a more out of touch, worthless guild site in America?

Stay away from print, good advice, but a few weeks is not nearly long enough, try forever.

-Suggestion for newspaper execs: Stay away from print for a few weeks-
Temple Talk

John Temple recommends editors and publishers go cold turkey on their print edition for a few weeks to see what life is like for those living solely in a digital world. "[They] would quickly see flaws in their offerings and would also more clearly understand the flood tide that is running," he writes. "I believe it would hasten their sense of urgency."

Today's Real Truth:
Rabid conservatives were born afraid, and to cope with this fear they spend their life hating everything and everyone different from themselves. That's the genetic disposition of being a rabid conservative. Typical conservative: deeply insecure, self-righteous, ignorant, assault-weapon lover, hate crime and intolerance advocate, season ticketholder to the Monster Trucks and big fans of abortion doctor killers, George Bush and Douche Limbaugh. Amen.

Oh, oh, our 1:06 ///sweetheart/// is just beside himself with rage. Someone tripped his babble switch. Now, who went and spoiled our pet’s day?

Anonymous said...

Hey 1:17 guess what? I'm a woman and there's actually more than one of us out here who thinks the conservative agenda of this site is BS. I'm not mad. I simply don't know whether to laugh or cry sometimes at your idiocy. I keep coming back just in case there's something useful here about McClatchy.

Oh, and the comment was what educated, literate people call a "parody."

1:06 -- there has actually been research on whether liberals are happier than conservatives
Conservatives, the religious, and the married are happier than everybody else.

Re: “Is there a more pathetic guild web site than the one in Sacramento?”

No, but perhaps they have been completely neutered, are useless, and nearly broke? If they can do nothing for employees, why pay dues? Better to hide this little fact, they don‘t hold an upper hand in negotiations now. They could be between the rock and a hard place we hear about. As newspapers fail, so do they, the end is near for them as well.

Maybe it's easier to be happy when you follow a dogma and don't have to question anything. I'm not sure that's a recipe for moving society forward.

Anonymous said...

Yeah, but they don't WANT to move society forward. They want the good old days when wimmins and darkies knew their place.

Message to 1:33: Yeah, but this site is entertaining - lib or conservative. You never know what kind of shock post is going to rock your world. Plus, it does have McClatchy information which is more than the union or company sites give us. Even the trolls are funny - once or twice a month.

1:33 PM - You work for McClatchy? You need say no more, my condolences on your upcoming fate. Why would you expect conservative opinions on a conservative blog? Gee, do you need someone to think that through for you?

Anonymous said...

1:33 PM - Do you fully realize what you just admitted? You come to a conservative site for McClatchy information. You sure aren’t going to get any straight talk from your company, or any liberal sites. They are trying to hide the facts from you. You are waking up, or you would not be here at all.

Anonymous said...

Anon 1:49, I don’t think you should call black people ‘darkies’ any longer. It’s like saying the ‘N’ word, and it sends all the wrong vibes.
Of course when Rev. Wright calls white people ‘whitey’, that is quite a different thing. That is his code word for people that live in his new golf course neighborhood. His new best friends so to speak, and it is an endearment.

"I simply don't know whether to laugh or cry sometimes at your idiocy."

Right about now...millions of Americans simply don't know whether to laugh or cry at the idiocy of those who voted for an unqualified and incompetent president based on nothing more than feel-good words like "hope and change".

/I keep coming back just in case there's something useful here about McClatchy./

How horrible it must be for you to have to come to a conservative blog to find information on McClatchy.

One would think a superior intelligence such as yours would question the ideology of a company that is so dishonest that they would not allow the truth to be released in their own publications.

What a shame that life is so painful for you. Right when you should be living it up. Everything is going your way. Obama is in office, he has allocated billions to ACORN to keep control at all cost. He is about to implement Cap and Tax so no one can afford their utilities. He's given a Billion dollars to Hamas, sided with Chavez over our allys and you're about to get another ACORN/LaRaza supreme court justice. Let's not for get that he dropped all charges against the New Black Panthers for their thuggery at the polls, even after they were found guilty!

You should be thrilled at how this change is working for you.

“I'm not sure that's a recipe for moving society forward.”

You meant forward into Obama’s Socialism plans no doubt, I don’t think I like that recipe either.

If you have to explain you wrote a parody, it probably was not educated or literate in form.

That was a parody? If I had to guess right now I would bet that Osama bin Obama will dramatically increase what is referred to as racism in this country.

His policies are so opposed to what this country stands for that the damage will last for decades. As is often the case, these decisions will be blamed on his race, rather than the intrinsic stupidity and authoritarianism of totalitarian liberalism.

I seem to remember a poll not long ago that more people in the USA consider themselves conservative than liberal. It may be that conservative voters that are Independents and Democrats will leave the Obama camp posthaste. That will bring the congress sea change like 1992, you know the one, where conservatives took over and gave Bronco Billy the good economy Democrats take credit for to this day.

Why a GOP congress could be the best thing for Obama

Clinton had that record (with a huge assist from the GOP congress) in 1992. The question is, will Obama….

Apparently the bubble has burst in the face of the Obamamedia. Remember how the lackey's were partnering with PR firms running polls that said Americans trusted Democrats with key issues over Republicans.

My how things change, and without a PR firm running the poll.....

Trust on Issues
Voters Trust GOP More than Democrats on Eight of 10 Key Issues

Anon 1:49 raises an interesting point about PC language. But I believe I've solved this societal dilemma. The "N" word, of course, is out. "People of Color" seems to be the PC crowd's moniker of choice these days, or "Colored," for short.
Back to the future.

Anonymous said...

Well, Barry is the first Black President so they said. You see, that was even a lie. He is a white/black mixed race person. One does not get to choose black or white when you are both, but he did. I read one humorous thing about PC language, it said if you want to say something like Obama is a monkey, be sure you address it to his white half. Liberals called President Bush that for years, and it would be just too hypocritical for them to deny it. If you would say that to his black half, Jesse Jackson is a comin’ to your door, or worse, the Black Panthers with their Billy clubs.

Anon 1:33 writes, “I'm not mad.”

Wouldn’t an educated, literate person write the word angry? ‘Mad’ could mean insane, and it would be difficult to judge her state of mind when she write incoherent parodies.

Yes they would, but to tell you the truth, that rambling had the mark of Rhonda Lokeman on it. There just isn't any way to combine that name with those words in an affirmative manner.

I'm puzzled. Under liberalism blacks folks have moved from being "colored people" to "people of color." Now I'm not much of a grammarian, but that seems to me that grammatically they're worse off because they've gone from being nouns to being some form of adjective phrase.

Not only that, but when they were "colored people" they had the term all to themselves so if a program was for colored people, they got all the goodies. Now, they have to share everything with anybody who has more than a suntan since people of color means just about anything that isn't lilly white. I'm thinking that once again the libs have screwed black folks, just as they've been trying to kill them off with abortion.

It is either share or watch their movements die on the vine. That is the life cycle of a special interest group.

They can cry and whine and throw fits about being picked on for only so long before there is a backlash. The only way to delay that from happening is to keep adding "victims."

Eventually however, they will be over run and discredited even by those who they include.

Just ask N.O.W. Look what happened to Betty Friedan and she went into the cycle eyes wide open, mistakenly believing that she could postpone the backlash indefinitely.

She was overtaken by lesbians who kicked her out and turned N.O.W. into a hate group. Before the backlash against them, they had become so brazen that they actually barred married women from membership and their new leadership decided to attempt forcing legislation of sterilization of men who didn't fit their criteria as a method of birth control.

Anonymous said...

The libs need the black folks. They need to shout or imply racism every time they run out of firepower. They need a permanent class of victims. What they never, ever want is to see people of color move past victim hood into prosperity or success. Much better for the lefties that people of color be kept in perpetual state of dependence and oppression.
The lefties have done nothing meaningful for the people of color and never will. It's not in their interest to do so.

Lot of anger on the right. Hard to buy viagra when you're laid off and you have to move in with your folks and spend the day eating pop tarts and swillng beer.
