This blog is mainly about the spectacular train wreck at The Sacramento Bee and its parent company, the McClatchy Company. But I also post about current events, the Iraq and Afghanistan wars, politics, anything else that grabs my attention. Take a look around this blog, hope you enjoy it.

Revealed: Barack Obama's personal publicist works for the AP
Wow, another right wingnut posts an anti-Obama column/opinion (not a story). Also, is this person an idiot. Headlines? I don't know of any reporter for the AP that writes their own headlines for their stories. You poor people are getting desperate, first your SC golden boy gets caught with his knickers around his ankles in South America, then your shining princess cuts and runs.....sad.
6:46 Your critique is as trivial as you claim the others are. Of course AP reporters don't write their own headlines, but the headlines do discuss the topic of the story. The writer's point was that the reporter wrote a lot about Osama bin Obama, not that he thought the headlines were goofy. Rather brazen hypocrisy to engage in the very same behavior you accuse others of in your critique.
...Yes, Jennifer Loven is on the payroll of the Associated Press...
Where does it say that in the opinion piece you posted? (All it talks about is her husband). And if it doesn't say it there, where did you get your information?
Bottom line: Nowhere does it say that Loven is on Obama's payroll. And AP editors, not reporters, write headlines. So nothing is "revealed." Just another lame attempt to increase blog traffic? Or just another clumsy attempt to appeal to the know-nothing MW base?

..Pretty much ALL the MSM are his personal publicists. This guy has figured out how to get Obanga to pay him. The rest do it for free.
Does anyone except me think the headline on this is completely bogus, based on the opinion piece's content? MW, what were you thinking?

I'm sorry, I shouldn't accuse you of being hypocritical, you may just be that stupid.

But the headline said that the reporter was an employee of the AP. Or does "works for" mean something else to you?
Make that read: But the headline said that Obama's personal publicist was an employee of the AP. Or does "works for" mean something else to you?
Yes, I believe that she is, in fact, an employee of the AP. And your point is what?
Yes, Jennifer Loven is on the payroll of the Associated Press.
Apparently my second thought was the correct guess.
