Should McClatchy's Dion Nissenbaum get a second paycheck from the Palestinian Authority?

Meryl Yourish has penned a devastating takedown of Dion Nissenbaum, McClatchy's middle east reporter.

Readers of this blog might remember I've pointed out (see here and here and here) how Nissenbaum repeats Hamas propaganda. During the Israeli/Palestinian conflict this past January, Nissenbaum made extensive use of information supplied by a Palestinian stringer, Ahmed Abu Hamda, who is almost certainly a Hamas propagandist.

In yesterday's piece, Yourish shows how Nissenbaum is back to trumpeting allegations about supposed abuses of Palestinian civilians committed by the Israeli army -- even though the allegations are highly suspicious.

I agree with Yourish's conclusion about Nissenbaum: "Really he should be drawing a second paycheck from the PA [Palestinian Authority] as he is doing its work."

Of course he should. But you mean a third paycheck, don't you?

MNI, DNC, and the PLO. And don't forgot the blue state, state job he'll have after MNI goes Chapter 11

I have no doubt that he is already getting a side check from hamas. Who else do you think is funneling the cash to the DC Bureau? Besides, if he didn't like his arrangement he could make a killing proselytizing for Al Jazeera.

What about a possible Soros paycheck?

What about a possible Soros paycheck?

I'd say it is more than just possible. Now they're saying they are going to collect from, "Foundations"

Right up the old Soros and his leagues of money laundering foundation alley. Don't forget the Rothchilds, the Rockefellers and about 5000 anonymous leftist foundations being churned out by Tides.

Nissenbaum is just another Knight Ridder ‘has been’ - He ‘has been’ writing the same garbage for years. He writes like he is using boilerplate, fill-in-the-blank forms at this point. I don’t believe a thing he writes. It would be a big step downward for Al Jazeera if they hired him. He is even below their biased news reporting standards, IMO.
