Newspaper stocks get a lift from Gannett
Gannett predicted Tuesday that its third quarter earnings would beat analyst expectations, giving newspaper stocks a boost. McClatchy rose 24 cents to $2.74 a share Tuesday. Click here for the story.
These short-lived "profit" reports will be short-lived.
