Rumored: KC Star to print Wall Street Journal -- update: deal not yet signed?

Tony Botello is hearing the KC Star will soon start printing the Wall Street Journal.

But it looks like the Star is still in the bidding process. In comments on Friday, a reader posted this:

KC Star bidding on printing the Wall Street Journal.... doing test runs now.

I'm guessing the deal hasn't been signed yet.
