Monday I noted I sent an email to John Walcott, Warren Strobel and Jonathan Landay about their piece falsely claiming McCain mischaracterized Obama's initial reaction after Russia invaded Georgia.
You can read the text of my email here.
As of late Tuesday night there has been no response to my email.
And the piece with the bad info is still on the McClatchy web site, uncorrected.
Now, I happen to know something about publishing a report with factual errors. Seems to me the best thing to do is admit your mistake and correct the false report. Even if it means you have to eat crow.
