Reporter at Anchorage Daily News links to anti-Palin conspiracy theory blog

Remember how Anchorage Daily News executive editor Pat Doughtery said he never really believed the conspiracy theories about Sarah Palin not being the mother of Trig Palin? Evidently some of Dougherty's reporters have a different perspective.

ADN reporter Mark Dent runs the Alaska Newsreader -- which the ADN describes as " a quick-read summary of what's news in and for Alaska." According to one account, Alaska Newsreader sometimes is little more than an anti-Palin linkfest -- including links to kooky conspiracy theory sites.
Dent's schtick is searching for deranged nutroots blogs that criticize Palin, consolidating the links into handy lists, and blasting those links out to Palin detractors. I can count on one hand the number of times I've seen the Newsreader link to a pro-Palin blog.
One blog Mark Dent linked to Tuesday is PalinGates -- a bizarre anti-Palin blog published France. The nutcase publisher of PalinGates is convinced Sarah Palin didn't give birth to Trig Palin. (!?) This is the ADN's view on "what's news in and for Alaska"?

I emailed Mark Dent on Tuesday to ask him why he links to conspiracy theory blogs. So far, no response. I'll let you know his answer if he responds. (Hat tip: email)
