McClatchy publishes its exhaustive story on Van Jones -- 2 sentences

Steven Thomma, the reporter who covers the Obama administration for McClatchy's DC bureau, posted a whopping 2 sentences on the resignation of Van Jones this morning.

Embattled White House green jobs czar Van Jones has resigned his post, the White House announced Sunday morning.
Jones has been under fire for signing onto claims that the government was complicit in the 2001 terrorist attacks against the United States, and for using course language to describe Republicans.

Thomma managed to write a long piece on the "birther" movement in the US (click here to see it) but somehow never got around to covering the Truther nutcase actually inside the administration -- until Jones resigned. Wow, great work by the Truth to Power organization!  Over at Jammie Wearing Fool, Steven Thomma is known simply as the McClatchy Nitwit.

I guess that don't know it's "coarse" language not "course" language. Professionalism!

Dirty Marxist BASTARDS!

I think they were stupid for letting this guy go.

Agreed, the more unabashed racist communists that are highlighted and surrounding Obama the sooner that racist bastard is impeached and entered into the rogue's gallery of history.

Van Jones is a mid-level at best appointment who cares?

I very much doubt Thomma knows anymore than that, if he only reads the deadwood media, or watches the dying network’s news. He knows what is in a dumpster in Alaska, but not about an Obama scandal right under his nose. Maybe someone should tell him John Edwards [gasp] did have an affair.

Van Jones, another Obama loser thrown under the bus.
Man, it must be crowded under there.

OK.... how would McClatchy handle if if there was proof that Van Jones was having an affair with Sarah Palin?

Would they report it or cover it up.

You all are just crazy. Expecting McClatchy to expose a fellow traitor is just nuts. It isn't going to happen so just quit wishing and do everything you can to close them down.

Obama White House Misled American Public On Van Jones (GatewayPundit)

Last November after the national election Team Obama announced to the American public that they would initiate the most extensive and invasive application process ever.

Their vetting process would "go beyond what might have been expected."

The Obama White House was committed to "change."
The New York Times reported:

A seven-page questionnaire being sent by the office of President-elect Barack Obama to those seeking cabinet and other high-ranking posts may be the most extensive — some say invasive — application ever.

The questionnaire includes 63 requests for personal and professional records, some covering applicants’ spouses and grown children as well, that are forcing job-seekers to rummage from basements to attics, in shoe boxes, diaries and computer archives to document both their achievements and missteps...

...Mr. Obama has elevated the vetting even beyond what might have been expected, especially when it comes to applicants’ family members, in a reflection of his campaign rhetoric against lobbying and the back-scratching, self-serving ways of Washington.

“President-elect Obama made a commitment to change the way Washington does business, and the vetting process exemplifies that,” said Stephanie Cutter, chief spokeswoman for the Obama transition office.

Imagine Truther-communist cop-killer supporter Van Jones' response to question number 8:

8.) Briefly describe the most controversial matters you have been involved with over the course of your career."

Or, how about question number 12?
Again, imagine communist-Truther Van Jones' response to this question:

12.) Speeches: Please identify all speeches you have given. If available please provide the text or recordings of each such speech.
Here's another one:

46.) Have any members of your family or close social or business associates ever been arrested for, charged with, or convicted of a crime other than a minor traffic violation?

(Van Jones was arrested in San Francisco in 1992 for participating in a demonstration following the acquittal of four LA police officers accused of beating Rodney King.)

If the Obama Administration had actually used this template to screen Van Jones his controversial speeches, his past arrest, and his musical collaborations with cop-killers should have raised a red flag or two with the administration.

Either Team Obama ignored Van Jones' past-- accepted and agreed with his past-- or completely misrepresented their vetting process to the American public.

Just how exactly did such a radical hater like Van Jones make it through such an extensive and invasive screening?

The administration has some explaining to do.

The martyrdom of communist-Truther Van Jones has begun.

At a commencement address in the spring, first lady Michelle Obama held Jones up as an example to students of people who are doing interesting and innovative work.

"And then there's Van Jones, who recently joined the Obama administration, a special adviser to the president on green jobs.

Van started out as a grassroots organizer and became an advocate and a creator of ‘green collar’ jobs –- jobs that are not only good for the environment, but also provide good wages and career advancement for both skilled and unskilled workers,” she said.

...There was little immediate talk of possible successors to Jones, largely due to the sense he would be difficult to replace in an advisory post designed specifically for him, due to his past work in promoting "green jobs." His departure will likely leave the sorest feelings among Obama’s supporters on the left.

Jones has deep ties to the current liberal elite: He was a top aide to Huffington Post founder Arianna Huffington’s 2003 campaign for governor of California, and Sunday won praise from, among others, former Vermont Governor Howard Dean.

So is their anyone on the left who did not praise this commie-Truther?

No wonder the Left is so pi$$ed.

Did you expect real reporting? The company has chosen its side and how it will report "news." That's one of the main reasons McClatchy is in the dumper. It's alienated its core readership by slanting coverage to the far left.

These old-line, failing media companies are playing right into the coverage strategies of Fox News and talk radio. They are so ignorant of how media is changing, they are actually driving their former readers to outlets that actually report on what interests the masses. McClatchy and others are still trying to impress the Beltway crowd and egghead insiders.

The sooner we recognize that this is a Communist administration the better off we will be. These are hard line Marxist totalitarians who do not believe in democracy and want to transform America into a socialist state. These are not just an opposing party, these are our enemies domestic and we must oppose them by any means necessary.

We are not talking about free speech, genius, we are talking about news reporting. Unbiased journalism. The free speech thingy is fine for the editorial page, not the news pages.

Are you going to seriously contend that the main stream agenda driven media tried to ignore and cover up the Van Jones mess?
