Meet McClatchy director William Coblentz -- he's donated to Obama, numerous other Democrats

McClatchy director William Coblentz, a San Francisco attorney, is a major donor to the Democratic party, federal election records show. Take a look at his political contributions:
.
$2,300 to Barack Obama in 2008
$500 to San Francisco Democratic Central Committee in 2008
$1,000 to Jay Rockefeller in 2007
$2,300 to Barbara Boxer in 2007
$1,000 to John Edwards in 2007

$750 Democratic Senatorial Committee in 2007
$1,000 to Tom Allen (Dem) in 2007 (running against GOP moderate Susan Collins)
$500 to San Francisco County Democratic Committee in 2008
$500 to "Solidarity PAC" in 2007
$500 to "Brown for Congress" (Dem) in 2007

$500 to Jeanne Shaheen (Dem) in 2007
$500 to "Jackie Spier for Congress" (Dem) in 2008
$500 to Carl Levin (Dem) in 2007

$500 to Allyson Schwartz for Congress (Dem) in 2007
$300 to Tom Allen for Senate (Dem) in 2007
$250 to "Brown for Congress" (Dem) in 2008
$200 to Tom Allen for Senate (Dem) in 2007
$5,000 to the Democratic National Committee in 2004
$1,000 to John Kerry in 2004
$1,000 to John Kerry in 2004
$1,000 to Joe Lieberman in 2004
.

The reason you don't see any Republicans on the list is because he hasn't donated to any Republicans. Joe Lieberman, of course, is now an Independent who supports McCain but in 2004 when Coblentz donated, he was a Dem.

...Then she'll like you, A non.

...This guy is what passes for Fair and Balanced on the left. He, and others, is why McClatchy has to go bust. The SacBee is unfixable and can't be made into a real newspaper that values facts over opinion. It's an adjunct to the Democrat party; wholly owned and operated by the left. The McClatchy rags are still a paper, but they can't be trusted to give the news. They are merely another political tract.

sounds like free market to me baby. love it or take your socialism where everyone supports the government. you don't want socialism do you? then why do you not want the ability for people to do as they see fit with their money?

Hahaha, this is pathetic. Like Republicans don't do the same as this guy? Give me a break. This severely degrades the quality and credibility of your blogging.

The Republican Party is just a bunch of white racists. It is filled with a bunch of Angry White Guys (and Gals) who think the 1965 Hart-Celler Immigration Act ruined America because it made it a lot harder for whites from Ireland, England, France, Germany, Italy, etc. to immigrate to the U.S. and made it a lot easier for the Chinese, Indians, Jamaicans, Mexicans, Egyptians, etc. to immigrate to the U.S. What these racists don't GET is that the 1965 Hart-Celler Immigration Act (Thank You Senator Ted Kennedy) greatly increased Diversity in the U.S. which has made OUR Nation stronger and a much more multicultural place to live. Before 1965 Whites of European descent made up 88% of the U.S. population. Now whites only make up 65% of the U.S. population and by 2042 they will only make up 49% of the population. By 2100 Whites of European descent will only make up about 30% of the U.S. population and also by the year 2100 only 3% of the World Population will be White. The 2008 Election is just a turning point in American History though. By the end of this century white Europeans will be out of power in the United States(FINALLY!) and then we can finally end WHITE PRIVILEDGE and can get REAL Affirmative Action, REAL Reparations, REAL Change, and begin to redistribute wealth and property back to those who deserve it. Unfortunately, these Changes won't take place until the White Kids in Strollers and Elementary School today are in their 60's and 70's. The World is Flat. The white racist Republicans just don't seem to get it!
